MINNEAPOLIS -- It's time, folks! Baseball fans the world-over are taut with anticipation for the start of the 1997 season! Tomorrow night it all begins! Sunday Night Baseball will feature a mid-western battle: the Minnesota Twins will play host to the Detroit Tigers in game #001.
There will be much pomp and fanfare for tomorrow's game. Twins officials are expecting a packed house despite heavy snowfalls outside the park. Decorations are festooned in the stands for tomorrow night's extended introductions.
