SEATTLE -- Tigers Manager Mat McNeil went fuckin' ape in a post-game interview over his team's horrendous 16-1 loss to the Mariners. In a profanity-laced tired, he threatened to "crack skulls", watch below.

TIGERS START JUNE UP SHIT'S CREEK
SEATTLE -- The Tigers will begin the month of June during the upcoming series against Seattle and if they cannot make a strong +.500 push, their season is effectively over.
It was the manager's stated goal last month to finish May five games above .500. That didn't happen. Instead, the Tigers find themselves 14.5 back in the toughest division in baseball. They cannot remain 14.5 back heading into July. At worst, they need to be 10 back or less.
The Tigers' schedule for June is difficult. Interleague play will begin mid-month with easy games against the Expos, but they'll also play the Mets and Marlins. The Tigers host a grueling homestand against the Yankees and Red Sox, June 20-24. They'll start July with a 5-game series against the murderous Orioles.

Chicago (NL) fans certainly got their money's worth at Wrigley Field. Jeremi Gonzalez(2-2) pitched a rare no-hitter as the Chicago (NL) Cubs toppled the San Diego Padres 6 to 0.
Gonzalez was spectacular. He walked 2 San Diego batters. The tension started to build around the 6th inning. By the 9th inning the crowd was electrified. Several hot Cubbie girls showed titties before the start of the ninth. Chicago (NL) rapped out 8 hits for the afternoon.
Sterling Hitchcock(2-4) was the loser. He gave up 2 runs and 4 hits in 5 innings. After the game, Gonzalez was heard to say, 'This is something I have dreamt about since I was a little boy - to have it come true is just amazing!'
Gonzalez's final line: (W) 9.0 IP, 0 H, 0 R, 0 ER, 2 BB, 8K.
Jeremi Gonzalez was killed May, 25 2008 in a lightning strike. What are the odds of pitching a no hitter and getting hit by lighting?

DETROIT -- It was a game Mat McNeil called "the most exciting of the season." The Tigers pulled off an incredible walk-off win in the 9th after Bobby Higginson dropped a fly ball in the top half of the 9th to push it to extras.
The scoring started early. The Tigers pushed across two runs in the bottom of the 2nd. Melvin Nieves homered, Brian Hunter and Jody Reed both reached on fumbled groundballs and errant throws by pitcher Pat Hentgen. But Detroit made a crucial miscue of their own in the bottom of the 5th. After a double and single produced one run, Tigers' starter Lira, threw a ball into the stands to allow another run to score.
In the bottom of the ninth, after dodging numerous threats in the 7th and 8th, it looked like the game was in the bag. The Tigers were leading 4-3 with Jones on the mound. After a runner reached, a routine fly was smacked to Bobby Higginson who dropped the ball. "I lost it in the lights," he said later. That tied the game 4-4. The Blue Jays left the bases loaded in the 9th. A big hit would've capped the game.
Pinch-hitter Easley reached to start the 9th, Hunter successfully bunted him to second, and then Fryman singled. Easley had a 75% chance of scoring on the play. The third base coach waved him home, and the Tigers won! Incredible
Notes:
- The Yankees have won 18 of their last 21. They are giving the Tigers no opening to move up in the standings.
- Tony Clark is now batting just .201 (.617 OPS). He is 7-for-his-last-44 (.160) with 0 home runs and 3 RBI.

MANAGER CALLS OUT CLARK
TORONTO -- After tonight's 1-0 loss to the Blue Jays, a game in which Roger Clemens took a no hitter into the 7th inning due in large part to Tony Clark's batting foibles, Manager Mat McNeil ripped the slugging first baseman in a post-game interivew. He destroyed Clark in no polite terms.
"This is fucking bullshit. Attention Fans! Tony Clark is 6-for-his-last-34 (.176) with zero home runs and has bombed in so many clutch situations. First base is a position you expect massive offensive contribution from. Tell me fans, are you okay with a first sacker who's hitting .214 on the season and second in the league in strikeouts? It's fucking bullshit, its called having a slow bat. It's called missing pitches. It means a lack of work ethic. It's lazy ██████ bullshit. It's okay to bat .214 if you're hitting 10th in the lineup, but when you're our offensive force, .214 ain't fucking cutting it. Period. Buck for the cameras, Tony, you're being a bitch. I want you to buck and explain yourself. Come on, nigga, buck down. You are benched next game, got it pal? You are the reason we are still under .500, you are the biggest dissapointment. I'll have you doing sprints for hours before tomorrow's game and then I'll send your ass out on the back forty to do some heavy lifting. Wake up, ██████."
The Tigers are now 11 games back and have dropped to 4th place. Statisically, Tony Clark ranks among the worst first baseman in the league.
Manager McNeil is at the edge of popping a cork.
