MANAGER CALLS OUT CLARK

TORONTO -- After tonight's 1-0 loss to the Blue Jays, a game in which Roger Clemens took a no hitter into the 7th inning due in large part to Tony Clark's batting foibles, Manager Mat McNeil ripped the slugging first baseman in a post-game interivew.  He destroyed Clark in no polite terms.

"This is fucking bullshit.  Attention Fans!  Tony Clark is 6-for-his-last-34 (.176) with zero home runs and has bombed in so many clutch situations.  First base is a position you expect massive offensive contribution from.  Tell me fans, are you okay with a first sacker who's hitting .214 on the season and second in the league in strikeouts?  It's fucking bullshit, its called having a slow bat.  It's called missing pitches.  It means a lack of work ethic.  It's lazy ██████ bullshit.  It's okay to bat .214 if you're hitting 10th in the lineup, but when you're our offensive force, .214 ain't fucking cutting it.  Period.  Buck for the cameras, Tony, you're being a bitch.  I want you to buck and explain yourself.  Come on, nigga, buck down.  You are benched next game, got it pal?  You are the reason we are still under .500, you are the biggest dissapointment.  I'll have you doing sprints for hours before tomorrow's game and then I'll send your ass out on the back forty to do some heavy liftingWake up, ██████."

The Tigers are now 11 games back and have dropped to 4th place.  Statisically, Tony Clark ranks among the worst first baseman in the league.

Manager McNeil is at the edge of popping a cork.
